當天的活動除了有課外讀物展銷外，也有專職老師到來教導父母與孩子一同製作葉子書和繪本講故事等。同時，現場也有一項親子活動，讓村內父母瞭解親子關係與父母陪伴孩子學習的重要性等。

歐陽捍華：發展雪78新村‧前朝只給20萬 . 民聯撥540萬

雪州行政議員歐陽捍華指出，前朝政府沒有全力照顧州內所有華人新村，其中每年撥給全雪州78個華人新村的款項，卻只有20萬令吉，也就是每個華人新村只得到2500令吉而已。
自去年308大選後，民聯執政雪州以後，就發現前朝政府撥給雪州78個華人新村的款項實在太少，於是就增加撥款到540萬給雪州境內的78個華人新村，以作為發展的用途以及提昇和維修新村內的基本設施，這其中的增加比率高達27倍，這對於華人新村的平民百姓來說是一個大好消息。

根登新村一條可通往多個地區的道路，獲雪州政府撥出近18萬令吉提升，村民使用該路可大大縮短車程時間。
歐陽捍華指出，這條長約500公呎的道路已有10年不獲得提升，非常破爛且凹凸不平，居民也鮮少使用，被逼繞道近10公里路。
“這條路可通往根登新鎮、萬撓公主鎮及煤炭山，若用這條路，可大大縮短車程時間，村民受益無窮。”
他說，州政府是通過新村發展部撥出近18萬令吉，來提升這條道路，工程于前天開始，預料在兩週內完成。
他週五前往根登新村巡視工程進度后，這么指出。
“根登新村有8000名居民，根登新鎮、萬撓公主鎮及煤炭山則有逾兩萬人，我相信這條路能方便這些居民進出。”
他指出，民聯雪州政府非常關注新村的發展，每年撥出540萬令吉給新村。
“去年，我們著重在沙白縣的漁村，今年，我們會關注新村的基設問題，如水溝及道路等。”
他透露，根登新村也有很多廢置工程，州政府希望有承包商能接手這些計劃，重新發展。

（雪蘭莪‧雙溪毛糯）隨著雪州政府撥款23萬5000令吉在雙溪毛糯美麗村13路建築溝渠後，當地居民有望揮別逢雨必災及糞水倒流的困擾！
雙溪毛糯13路居民披露，此路長期沒有溝渠，他們自去年6月開始面對黃泥水涌入屋內的問題，黃泥水甚至淹至一尺高，同時造成糞水倒流問題，讓他們感到無比煩惱。
他們表示有關黃泥水是從山坡流向他們住區，而自出現逢雨必災情況後，村民每天都心驚膽顫度日，晚上睡覺聽到下雨聲都會驚醒，擔心水災來襲。
美麗村村長吳沓駿指出，雖然目前受水災影響的只有13路三間排屋和一間非法木屋，不過由於情況有逐漸惡化的跡象，於是居民紛紛向他投訴，他也代居民反映問題給掌管雪州新村發展及處理非法工廠事務的行政議員歐陽捍華。
因此，歐陽捍華在年初前往當地巡視後，通過雪州政府撥款建築溝渠協助排水，並在週三（7月7日）上午帶領各報記者和居民前往現場巡視工程進展。
預計8月可竣工
歐陽捍華表示，13路的建溝渠工程全長400尺，寬度則為1.2尺。工程是在今年6月開工，預計8月可竣工。
他說，美麗村13路的水災是因為沒有溝渠而導致，主要是以前在成立時沒有規劃基設，結果隨著附近地區開發和進行工業區發展後，發生雨水夾帶黃泥從對面山坡衝入住家的問題。
他也舉例，他在擔任行政議員後，不時到雪州境內新村巡視和協助村內基設問題，而這些問題包括溝渠崩塌、道路沒有鋪上瀝青和排水問題等，都是國陣政府在位期間沒有解決的問題。
因此，州政府今年的目標是可以提昇州內新村、漁村和重組村的基設，讓村民在更舒適的環境下生活。
出席者包括鵝麥縣新村事務協調官徐兆生及根登新村村長黃成福等人。
美麗村已有20年歷史
民聯執政後增設基設
吳沓駿指出，屬於重組村的美麗村已有20年歷史，村內目前有600餘戶居民，其中華裔佔80%，巫裔及印裔則各佔20%。
他說，600戶居民當中，有400戶居民是從甲洞木屋區D區搬遷至此處，剩餘的200戶則來自士拉央地區。
他表示，由於國陣政府在過去20年都沒有修復村內的基設，因此當民聯政府為村內增設兒童游樂場和提昇基設的舉動，讓居民感到欣喜不已。
他舉例，村內某些道路因長期承受重型車輛走動，至今已出現坑洞，因此希望州政府可以進行修補工作，為村民帶來便利。
地底水管泥土流失曝露
居民擔心隨時爆裂斷水
另一方面，歐陽捍華也巡視美麗村國能保留地下的地底水管因泥土流失而曝露在外，造成附近居民擔心水管隨時爆裂的困擾。
他說，屬雪州水供公司的水管原本被埋在地下，惟在長期面對泥土流失情況下，直徑達2尺的水管就曝露在外，一旦爆裂，會影響大半個美麗村村民的生活作息。加上該水管是從馬登巴也蓄水池輸送水源給雪隆地區居民，所以應正視有關情況。
因此，歐陽捍華將召集士拉央市議會及雪州水供公司進行會議，並以協調人身份尋找適合的解決方案。
住家去年6月起逢雨必災
葉冬花（58歲，13路居民）
“我家門牌是149號，從去年6月至今就面對逢雨必災的困擾，這是我在過去20年來不曾遇到的情況。
每次淹水的水位都差不多一尺高，我們的沙發等家具長期浸泡在水中，損失慘重，至今也沒有辦法估計。
自出現逢雨必災現象後，我和家人都不太敢外出，就算晚上睡覺聽到雨水聲也會驚醒，擔心隨時要搬高家具。
雖然我們曾嘗試加高門檻，可是卻無補於事，只好不斷向村長投訴，要求解決問題。”
雨水像瀑布從山坡湧下
張金花（60歲，13路居民）
“雖然目前只有147、148、149和一間非法屋面對水災問題，可是每次下雨看到好像瀑布似的水從山坡涌來我們住家方向時，都會擔心嚴重水災的發生。
我和家人外出的活動也因此受到限制，出門前都要再三看天氣才能決定行程。
由於擔心情況惡化，所以每次下雨都會打電話跟村長求助。”

A NEW 400m-long drain is being constructed along Jalan 13 of Kampung Sri Indah A, Sungai Buloh, to help resolve flood woes on this street.
Costing RM235,000 to build, the allocation was made by Selangor New Village Development Committee chairman Ean Yong Hian Wah, who chairs this portfolio under the state government.
There was previously no drain on this street. Ean Yong said he hoped the water would be channelled out properly once the drain was ready.
“Work on the construction of the drain started in June and is expected to be completed in August,” said Ean Yong during a visit to check on the progress of the work.
Villagers staying along this row, such as Teo Kim Hua, would shudder every time it poured.
The rain water will wash the mud down from the nearby hill slopes thus inundating Jalan 13 that fronts Teo’s house.
The road, she said, would be flooded by the murky waters which flowed into at least three houses on the street and when the water receded the house compound was filled with a coat of mud.
Thus far, Teo’s house has not been flooded. However, she is fearful that sometime in the near future, her house too would be affected because the murky water had reached the main gate of her house.
“Since June last year, the flash floods have become worse as water would rise to over one feet. The water flows into three of my neighbours’ houses,” said Teo, 60.
Teo, who has stayed in the village for two decades, said the flood problem first started back in 2008, and at that time the villagers had lodged complaints to the MCA bureau.
“One of the developers was instructed to dig the earth to allow better flow of the water, and the situation was fine until June last year,” she said.
Ean Yong said Kampung Sri Indah A is not so much a new village but more of an organised village which was built after the Emergency Ordinance.
“Therefore, the basic infrastructure may not be that good.”
He added that Jalan 13 was also situated on lower ground which probably explained why the area was prone to flooding.
Kampung Sri Indah A Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) chairman Wu Tat Choon thanked Ean Yong for looking into their plight and offering assistance.
He said it was unfortunate that there was no drain along Jalan 13, while many other drains in the village were also clogged up thus impeding the flow of water.
“When the drains are congested, they cannot cope with the earth and sand that are being washed down,” said Wu, 50.
He also complained about the constant burning of waste at one of the factories, polluting the air with a foul odour and endangering the health of the villagers there.
Ean Yong said in new and organised villages, infrastructure like drains were either damaged or missing. He aims to get these amenities replaced or repaired within the next four years.
Ean Yong also made a short stop at a reserve land where TNB high-tension cables ran through the village. He was shown four underground water pipes that were now left exposed, much to the horror of some residents there.
The villagers said slope erosion over the years with soil being gradually washed off by water had caused exposure of the pipes.
“As it is now left in the open, the villagers are concerned that the pipes will be exposed to damage and greater wear and tear that may cause it to leak and burst eventually, which will be very dangerous,” said Ean Yong.
“They are also concerned about their homes which are at risk of collapsing since the earth from the slopes is gradually eroding.
“I will ask for a dialogue soon with the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) on this issue.”

雪州民聯委任7名新村事務協調官 Tujuh Orang Pegawai Perhubungan Perkampungan Negeri Selangor

（雪蘭莪‧沙亞南）續雪州民聯與中央政府的新村村長“鬧雙胞”後，雪州政府週三（6月30日）再宣佈委任雪州新村事務協調官，硬撼早前中央政府委任的聯邦新村協調官。
掌管新村發展及處理非法工廠事務的雪州行政議員歐陽捍華週三召開新聞發佈會宣佈，州政府委任7名各縣新村事務協調官，負責處理各縣新村事務。
歐陽捍華：不含政治因素
惟他聲明，有關委任不含政治因素。同時，他也直斥中央政府委任新村村長和協調官，是越俎代庖的做法。
他在受詢及民聯和中央政府新村協調官“鬧雙胞”的情況時指出，中央政府違反聯邦憲法，這已超越雪州政府的權限，委任名不符實的協調官。
他強調，雪州政府委任的新村事務協調官，才是真命天子。
他說，協調官早在今年初陸續就任，今日的新聞發佈會是正式作出公佈，這7名協調官清一色是華裔人士，他們將在縣署辦公室值勤。
任期年限為兩年
歐陽捍華表示，協調官任期年限為兩年，且須向縣署報告工作，主要職務是處理漁村、重組村和新村事務，此外，也負責召集各村村長開會，共商解決村內問題的對策。
他說，協調官將是村長與政府官員的溝通橋樑，凝聚地方官員資源以解決新村問題，同時，監督各村的發展計劃如期進行。

新村事務協調官職責
1. 由州政府委任協助處理新村、漁村及重組村事務。
2. 任期為兩年。
3. 一旦簽署受聘合約，新村事務協調官需在安排縣署開始工作。
4. 新村事務協調官需向州行政議員受權的縣長報告事務。
5. 新村事務協調官強制性出席由縣署及相關小組領導有關新村事宜的會議。
6. 新村事務協調官需出席由州政府、州議員及國會議員舉辦的活動。
7. 新村事務協調官有責任召集縣內的村長開會商討新村所面對問題。
8. 新村事務協調官有責任聯繫或協調所有來自政府或小組的官員，共同努力解決村內問題。
9. 新村事務協調官有責任監督及確保村內每項工程如期進行及竣工。
10. 新村事務協調官需每月向縣長及州行政議員提呈書面報告。
Seramai tujuh Pegawai Perhubungan Perkampungan Negeri Selangor telah dilantik bagi membantu dalam hal ehwal kampung di tujuh daerah di Selangor.

Exco Pembangunan Kampung Baru dan Penyelesaian Kilang Haram, Ean Yong Hian Wah berkata perlantikan mereka adalah bagi memperkasa dan melicinkan pentadbiran kerajaan negeri di peringkat kampung.

“Peranan dan skop tugas mereka telah disenaraikan untuk mebantu dalam hal ehwal berkenaan kampung baru tersusun di sesuatu daerah.

“Mereka dilantik selama dua tahun adun pejabat mereka akan ditempatkan di pejabat daerah,” katanya.

Mereka yang dilantik ialah Chan Huan Guan pegawai untuk daerah Petaling dan Klang, Tan Kom Poh, Hulu Langat, Lim Soon Hong, Kuala Langat dan Sepang, Wong Ah Chia, Sabak Bernam, Chng Boon Lai, Hulu Selangor, Heng Hua Joo, Kuala Selangor dan Chee Chu Sang untuk daerah Gombak.

Beliau berkata perlantikan kesemua pegawai tersebut mengikut prosedur yang ditetapkan dan mereka turut perlu menandatangani Kontrak Perkhidmatan dengan Kerajaan Negeri.

Dalam pada itu, beliau turut memperincikan tugasan yang perlu dipertanggungjawapkan oleh mereka yang baru dilantik antaranya ialah perlu bermesyuarat secara berkala bagi membantu menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi oleh orang kampung.

Selain itu pegawai yang dilantik perlu memantau dan memastikan sesuatu projek pembangunan di dalam kampung baru dilaksanakan dengan sempurna dan mengikut spesifikasi yang ditetapkan.

Pegawai Perhubungan Kampung itu juga perlu membuat laporan tugasan bulanan bertulis kepada Pegawai Daerah dan Exco.

Kesemua pegawai akan memulakan tugasan mereka Julai ini.
